The CTS solution continues beyond the Antennae Systems and into the Equipment Room, with a Monitored Splitter Array housed in a 19inch equipment rack package.
The CTS Monitored Splitter Array is of modular design and will therefore adapt to meet the Customers specific requirements whilst adhering to the 75 hm Industry Standard for TV Reception Systems.
Reliability with minimal signal loss have been the main design aims of this solution. Together with flexibility and future proofing, the overall cost effectiveness of this solution has been optimised.
Reliability is achieved through monitoring each signal path at appropriate junctures, and then in the event of a signal failure, switching to standby Power Supply Units, Amplifiers, and ultimately, the Agile Antenna.
Minimal losses are achieved by utilising passive splitter components, and intelligent Rf design practices with respect to equipment rack design and wiring schemes to minimise Stacking Loss. Thus ensuring that the signal delivered to the IRD (Integrated Receiver Decoder) is within capture range.
The logical configuration of splitter components coupled with the Patch Panel, allow any signal to be fed to any IRD, ensuring a flexible and future proof system.
The robust architecture of the CTS Monitored Splitter Array facilitates interface with a range of Systems Management Software Suites.
