The CTS solution continues beyond the Antennae Systems and into the Equipment Room, with headend solutions for Television and Radio in both Analogue and Digital formats via satellite and terrestrial broadcast. These solutions have been installed around the world for a range of Cable TV Operators, Professional Broadcasters, and increasingly--Internet Media Services Providers for TV on Net applications.
Consequently CTS has a sound understanding of the specialist needs of companies operating in these arena. Such that, Headend distribution outputs are provided in a number of formats to suit each Customers specific needs fir VHF broadband 8Mhz channel spacing; UHF adjacent channel allocations; Fibre Optic Distribution; Microwave or Rf re-broadcast frequencies.
The Turnkey Solution encompasses design of the Headend consoles in 19inch rack format, complete with Power Supply; Signal Processing ((decode)(modulate)); Signal Splitting Array; Patch Panel; Monitor Outputs and Test Points. Headend consoles can be pre-assembled, wired, and soak tested at CTS for Customer Acceptance Tests prior to installation. Alternatively on site assembly can be accommodated.
All wiring is carried out in accordance with IEE Regulations and BSI Standards, with Technical Earth Continuity assured. Upon completion of construction and installation CTS provide full commissioning documentation and Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
The CTS, Cable TV--Digital Headend Solution includes a unique 75W Monitored Splitter Array with alarm, and redundancy path switching; a point of increasing interest given the large number of feeds and the need for zero downtime that Cable TV Operators and Internet Media Services Providers require.
Furthermore, the CTS solution has the flexibility to interface with Headend Management Software Systems as specified by the Customer.
