Antenna systems comprise professional yagi arrays for UHF, VHF or FM reception, with log periodic arrays where appropriate, all mounted on tubular masts or free standing towers ranging in height from 3 metres to 50 metres.
With the advent of Digital Terrestrial TV (DTTV), the science of terrestrial broadcasting has become still more complex, and likewise the antennae systems. Employing the latest COFDEM test equipment and cluster/MUX filtering devices the CTS solution extracts the maximum signal quality from the antenna system.
The CTS solution begins with an extensive Signal Survey, with adjacent-channel and co-channel interference measurements, signal-to-noise analysis, and broadband frequency sweeps. Reception tests are carried out with state of the art test instrumentation (incorporating plotters), with measurements recorded at a variety of heights with the CTS Mobile Antenna Mast.
The recorded data is then complied to form the Survey Report, which has proven to be an invaluable document to our Customers in their decision making processes. This report then becomes the basis of the Design Solution, where, with state of the art computer aided design techniques, the tower assemblies and relative fixing positions of each antenna array is defined, along with CAD Drawings detailing steelworks, mounting booms and wind loadings.
Our Turnkey Solution provides the necessary towers, masts, and structural steelwork for the installation of single arrays, or multiple stacked arrays, along with the required civil engineering.
The solution also encompasses aircraft warning lights (as required) and Lightning Protection including interface to the existing Lightning Field, Lightning Rods, and in-line Lightning Arresters to the Antenna Feeder Cables.
